General fund giving supports essential OMF ministry to accomplish the work of evangelization in East Asia. Field ministries literally would not function without the support of our general fund.
Imagine missionaries better enabled to do ministry because more of their personal living, children's educational, travel, medical and retirement needs are covered from the general fund rather than from personal support development efforts.
General fund supports the following:
Mobilization Ministry (including recruitment, screening, training and care of missionary candidates).
Facilities infrastructure.
Missions education and resources to churches.
Communications and data management systems.
Prayer resources and ministries.
Administrative and staff support.
Retired missionary needs.
Special missionary and OMF organizational needs and emergencies.
Ongoing personal care and spiritual development of field missionaries and home staff.
