Chiang Mai Theological Seminary (CTS) started in June 2001 and is currently renting a facility since 2002 but has out grown its capacity. With a vision for the future, the CTS Board of Directors purchased 5 rai of land (about 2 acres) in Hangdong, Chiang Mai in 2005. A new multi-purpose building is planned for housing the Center of Theological Graduate Level Training, Center of Distance Learning (Mobile Seminary), Center of Pastoral and Lay Leader Training, Community Center, Thailand Center for World Missions (related to the US Center for World Missions) and Retreat Center for local churches. Following God’s provision of the land, they are praying for funds to build the new facility.
