This project is established to provide funds given by various supporters to facilitate the education of tribal children and young people from the Umayamnon Manobo tribe of central Mindanao, Southern Philippines. The project provides for all the schooling expenses of approximately 100 elementary children from grades one through to six, the living expenses of approximately thirty high school students from first year through to fourth year, the upkeep required for the high school dormitory and a monthly allowance for the dormitory parents.
A committee has been established to manage this project and provide assistance and accountability for the dormitory parents. The committee consists of the two dormitory parents, two local area pastors and a partner missionary. Application, screening, discipline and discipling of the young people are handled by the committee.
